Hunter is a little boy obsessed with all things cars, trucks and diggers so we thought the Touch-a-Truck festival would be his idea of heaven - and it definitely did not disappoint. It's not everyday that you get so close to tow trucks, fire engines, and excavators let alone get to sit in the drivers seat.
Hunter was particularly at home in the police car (hopefully he won't find himself in the back of one when he's older) and loved sitting up in the fire truck and cement mixer.
If the big rigs and sirens all became a bit too much, there were pony rides, a petting zoo, face-painting and market stalls to look at as well - as far as a fundraiser aimed at kids this could not have been any more exciting.
If you are anywhere near Ringwood in Melbourne this afternoon with your little ones it is definitely worth a look - it is running until 3.00 pm at Knaith Rd Reserve for $5 adult/$2 child entry.
