Learning Through Play!

If your house is anything like mine you most likely have toys strewn around most rooms, and probably spend a lot of your time picking up, or tripping over said items. You may have stuffed toys, trains, or dolls spread throughout, not to mention those huge plastic playthings - most of which usually fail to hold your child's attention, and eventually become an eyesore that sits in the corner of your lounge-room. I'm always on the lookout for new products and things that will keep Hunter interested, and recently discovered a fantastic company called 'Little Wooden Toybox', who sell beautiful wooden toys that encourage children to learn through play.

Wooden toys are great because they stand the test of time, are aesthetically pleasing and inspire children to use their imagination and develop their creativity through multi-sensory learning. There are so many toys to choose from and they are split into age-based categories ranging from newborns all the way up to school aged children, as well as education-based categories such as colours and shapes, or even social and language - the choices are endless!

It is easy to get caught up buying electronic items, or the latest toys with all the bells-and-whistles, but sometimes going back to basics can be the best for your little ones. Do yourselves and your munchkins a favour and click the following link below to discover the magical world of wooden toys.
